a locus of focus on the CROCUS

with initially particular attention on

loci of foci on the CRoCI

Along with organizations and individuals — with which it is affiliating itself or allying itself or associating itself or collaborating or partnering or cooperating — the ACHF, in convergingly joint initiative, is undertaking the further design, development, deployment, launch, maintenance, expansion, and promulgation of a locus of focus on the CROCUS (Campaign for Reduction Operations on Catastrophes in the US).   Initially particular attention is being put on further developing and expanding loci of foci on the CRoCI (Campaigns for the Reduction of Catastrophic Improficiencies).

Among the CRoCI that crucially need to be ramped up most expeditiously, urgently, and pressingly are:

•    the Campaign for the Reduction of Illiteracy,

•    the Campaign for the Reduction of Incinemacy,

•    and the Campaign for the Reduction of Innumeracy.

Looking simply at the first of these, illiteracy, this is the catastrophic improficiency that many would at first glance think of as the most alarming and fearful.   While anecdotal observations for decades have given indications of the unfolding vanishment of literature and the impending collapse of literacy, overwhelmingly comprehensive statistical and scientific evidence, of the exploding extent of catastrophic illiteracy, has all the more so been emerging just in recent months, as can be seen in the results and contents of these few samples of studies, surveys, reports, and articles treating of this looming peril:
